If you are looking for something cold and refreshing on a hot summers day, look no further. This is a simple recipe for watermelon sorbet that you can whip up super fast. It’s great for cookouts, pool parties or any type of get together you might have this summer.
I wrote about how not to waste your watermelon in a post a few weeks ago here. This is the perfect recipe to make if have that watermelon sitting in the freezer or if you didn’t finish that watermelon left over from 4th of July. It couldn’t be easier. Just blend frozen watermelon with just a small amount of either plain or watermelon coconut water. I used the new Zico watermelon flavored coconut water. ( not a paid affiliate) This is so good and added the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor to my sorbet.
Scoop and enjoy! So easy and so so good.
- Frozen watermelon
- Water or coconut water
- Fresh squeezed lime - optional but highly recommend.
- Sweetener if choice - stevia, agave or maple syrup
- Blend frozen watermelon chunks with water. Careful to just add a small amount of water at a time. Just enough to blend. Add your lime and sweetener till combined.
- Scoop with ice cream scoop for pretty presentation and enjoy.
